Profile

Cynthia (Cindy) Veidt is a partner of Cary & Lippincott, PLLC and has worked for the law firm since the firm was founded on April Fool’s Day, 2007. Ms. Veidt has represented individuals and business entities of all sizes, including multinational corporations, in a broad range of commercial disputes and transactions, as well as consumer rights, family law, estate planning, probate administration, and employment matters. Ms. Veidt has experience in trial and appellate matters, often involving voluminous discovery and complex analysis, in state and federal courts of Texas. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Veidt was employed as a senior paralegal in the Civil Litigation Section of the Travis County Attorney’s Office for over six years. Ms. Veidt is active in the leadership of several organizations, including Austin Women’s Political Caucus, Meadow Woods Property Owners’ Association, and Austin Habitat for Humanity, and regularly volunteers for other community-service organizations. In addition, Ms. Veidt occasionally serves as an adjunct professor in the Legal Studies Program at Texas State University.
